About the event
Event information as per the host's website:
The UK Oncology Forum now enters its nineteenth year, we are delighted that the meeting will take place for 2023 at the ICC, Birmingham 15th & 16th June.
The NCRI has decided to no longer host an annual live meeting. This means that the UK Oncology Forum is now the only UK national pan-tumour, clinically focussed meeting on the UK Cancer meetings calendar. Hosting the meeting post ASCO and including vital insights and education from Chicago, adds significantly to the value of this highly respected annual UK cancer event.
The changes implemented by the Covid 19 pandemic, means that as with most medical educational meetings, we need to include an on-line facility. We will not hold a hybrid type of meeting, we will record the sessions and keynotes and host on an on-line platform post event. The on-line meeting will also be CME accredited. We pride ourselves on offering the Forum free of charge for all NHS cancer HCPs. For all attendees that join us in Birmingham there will continue to be NO registration fee. For healthcare professionals that prefer not to travel or cannot attend Birmingham there will be a charge to attend the online meeting. The system will map hourly attendance and CME certificates will only be awarded to delegates who complete the whole, required modules.
Our colleagues from other UK respected organisations will continue to collaborate with us for 2023 and we will be welcoming, BOPA, BASO, UKONS, SABR, the ACP, and other groups and colleagues.
We offer FREE exhibition space to Cancer Charities, to enable them to share the invaluable support that they offer to cancer patients with the attending HCPs. This exhibition runs separately to the industry exhibitions, as the ABPI code specifies.
Sponsors and industry supporters can take the opportunity to hear about insights from ASCO, current trends, challenges, and treatments around cancer healthcare. The clinical streams are chaired by the leading tumour experts in the UK. All our clinical chairs endorse this valuable and highly reputable meeting.
The meeting is ABPI compliant.
The exhibition and networking area is an ideal platform for our colleagues from industry to share information and updates about products, research, or services with the attendees, including the national experts that attend the meeting. In addition to adhering to the ABPI code of conduct, we also support the compliance of the Royal College of Physicians. Industry symposia is NOT CME accredited and symposiums will run outside of the main UKOF educational programme. UKOF sponsors have no input to the meeting programme or speaker choices.
The meeting is open to UK cancer healthcare professionals, ONLY.
We hope you can join us for valuable, first-class education and interesting and vital networking with colleagues and major UK cancer organisations.
